Jay-Z: Daughter Blue Ivy Doesn't Need To Be Tough Like Me
As a first time dad Jay-Z is a proud papa and already knows the values he wants to instill into his nine-month-old baby girl, Blue Ivy.
The Watch The Throne rapper gushed about life with wife Beyoncé to The New York Times Style Magazine saying that his family is "amazing."
The 42-year-old says having had a rough childhood growing up in the housing projects in Brooklyn, New York, is a completely different proposition to the life his tot is having.
"We would fight each other. My brother would beat me up," the hip hop mogul shared of his family dynamics. "I was going to have to fight, I was going to have to go through some things, and they were preparing me."
But Jay says that his gorgeous little girl "doesn't have to be tough" like her dad.
"She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful, and be a moral person," he shared of his wish for Blue Ivy.
The music superstar couple celebrated Beyoncé 's 31st birthday in complete style this week and were seen onboard a private yacht in the Mediterranean Sea off of the South of France.
As okmagazine.com previously reported, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian's fledgling friendship has apparently hit a rough patch and they barely acknowledged each other during the Budweiser Made in America festival over the Labor Day weekend.
