Jenelle Evans Claims Fight Instigator Sold Video for $45,000
Jenelle Evans is speaking out on the video tape released of her fight with Britany Truett saying the girl who instigated the fight, Brittany Maggard, was paid $45,000 for the tape.
Jenelle told E! News that Brittany sold the tape to the media for $45,000.
"She told me herself and I got very upset," Jennelle explained to E! News on Wednesday. "I cried for two hours."
Brittany, who has admitted to starting the fight between Jenelle and Britany, was arrested and charged with simple assault.
Jenelle, on the other hand, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault and affray.
But Brittany was arrested a second time in connection to the video for violating her probation from a separate assault case.
Jenelle's lawyer, is prepared to argue that his client was set up.
Her victim, Britany, was charged with simple affray and is prepared to argue self-defense.
"I think we have a very solid self defense claim and we are continuing to investigate the matter," Britany's attorney, Adrian Iaplucci, told E! News. "We are ready to take care of this as soon as possible."
Britany's court date is April 22 and Jenelle's is April 26.
