Jets' Tim Tebow Gives Easter Sermon in Texas
New York Jets' star Tim Tebow turned heads in Texas, that's for sure! During an Easter Sunday prayer service at Celebration Church, the star gave a sermon to 15,000 people in Georgetown, Texas.
According to E! News, Pastor Joe Champion introduced the footballer by stating, "In Christianity, it's the pope and Tebow right now. We didn't have enough room to handle the pope."
To a crowd of 15,000 people, Tim explained, "It's okay to be outspoken about your faith."
He also mentioned that he's proud of the attention "tebowing" (his sideline prayer pose) has gotten because that means people are talking about praying. "It's being talked about. That's exciting."
Despite his upbeat sermon, Tim critiqued other athletes who indicate they're not role models. He dished, "Yes, you are; you're just not a good one."
