Jim Carrey Says No to 'Dumb and Dumber' Sequel
Funnyman Jim Carrey has officially pulled out of Dumb and Dumber To, the sequel to the 1994 smash hit Dumb and Dumber co-starring Jeff Daniels.
In April it was announced that original directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly were working on a sequel and that both stars were excited about the project, which would begin filming this fall.
Alas, Jim wasn't feeling wanted enough by the Farrelly Brothers, New Line and Warner Bros. We have few details save for a source who says the actor felt the parties involved "showed a lack of enthusiasm for the project."
Jim's camp confirmed the news with the simple statement: "I would have thought 'Dumb and Dumber To' was a no-brainer. After all, it's implied in the title."
So high-maintenance, these actors!
