John Cusack Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame & Talks 'Say Anything' Sequel
In the midst of promoting his new thriller, The Raven, John Cusack stopped by the Hollywood Walk of Fame to receive his very own star!
According to E! News, John told the crowd, "To the best of my knowledge, I've tried to screw my career up as much as I possibly could. But even with all my best efforts to screw it up, I managed to have lasting friendships, and some of the best friends I've ever met in the business."
John's sister and occasional co-star, Joan Cusack, was on hand, as were Billy Bob Thornton, Jack Black, and producer/director Joe Roth.
As for one of his well-known leading roles, in the 1989 hit Say Anything, it sounds like he's game for a sequel — but only under one condition. "I think I would have to play a truck driver or something. I don't think it would work for me to play the same guy."
Wait, what? No Lloyd Dobler?
Then he added, "But we could only do it if me and [Say Anything director Cameron Crowe] did it together. If he wants to do it, I would do it."
