Last night as Bridesmaids won the best comedy award at the Critics Choice Awards, producer Judd Apatow had a few choice words of his own. That is, he got bleeped out three times during his speech!
Judd ended his speech with a dig toward comedian Jerry Lewis. According to CBS News, he quipped, "Jerry Lewis once said that he didn't think that women were funny. I'd like to say, with all respect, f--- you."
Bridesmaids was also nominated for the acting ensemble category and Melissa McCarthy was nominated for best supporting actress. Not only did it star women, it was co-written by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo. Go, girls!
