Are the days of chubby-cheeked lovers, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, a thing of the past?

OK! NEWS: DID JUSTIN BIEBER AND SELENA GOMEZ BREAK UP? JUSTIN TWEETS MYSTERIOUS MESSAGES

Not quite.

Despite rumors that Selena was heartbroken over a Biebs spat earlier this week, the two were spotted holding hands last night so it appears all is well for the greatest tween twosome of our time.

The couple were seen looking lovey, dovey at a date night at the Pink Pepper restaurant in L.A. where onlookers said the "Boyfriend" singer "had his arm protectively around Selena’s waist for most of the time.”

This morning wasn't as kind to the Biebs. He was reportedly pulled over for speeding on a Southland Freeway for driving his Fisker Karma hybrid vehicle over 65 miles per hour. No word on whether or not he was given a ticket, however.

"My first kiss with Selena was the best of my life," Justin recently told Fabulous magazine. "What does love feel like? It feels good. If you’re really in love then you should get butterflies."

After many months of speculation, the two made their relationship official in February of 2011 when they arrived together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party holding hands.

Do you think Selena and Justin will stay together?
