Katy Perry: "I'm Going Into Major Hiding" After 'Part of Me' Comes Out!

Katy Perry rocked the red carpet, and the stage, last night at the premiere of her 3D documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me in Hollywood, Calif. But despite putting on an amazing show for her film debut, Katy says she's ready to take a long break from the limelight after the movie hits theaters.

“I’m going to go into major hiding,” the pop princess told Access Hollywood of her future plans at the premiere. “I think I’ll have to after this movie comes out!”

Katy admits she's ready to reenergize and regroup after a very busy year, which included a devastating divorce from her husband of 14 months, Russell Brand. And although Katy loves being the center of attention and truly adores her fans, she admits the spotlight can be totally crazy, especially when your personal life is under constant scrutiny.

“I’m completely overwhelmed,” she admitted. “Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it! No, I’m very excited, very proud." As she should be!

“I’ve had a very kind of like intense day getting ready and thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, we’re shutting down Hollywood Boulevard, we have a premiere at the Chinese Grauman Theater,” Katy gushed. “This is crazy.”
