Kenny Chesney Moves Concert Ahead of Schedule to Avoid Hurricane Irene; Angers Fans

After the recent stage collapses that have been happening during concerts, we can't really blame Kenny Chesney for re-scheduling his Boston concert set for Sunday due to Hurricane Irene. His fans, however, do blame him for moving it up two days earlier rather than pushing it back!

Country star Kenny was set to perform at the Gilette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on Sunday, but decided to move it ahead to Friday instead due to the hurricane warnings.
"I want the last weekend of the 'Goin' Coastal' Tour to be a great experience for everybody," Kenny wrote in a statement on his website. "But I also want it to be the safest experience for everyone."
"I've always said Foxboro is a highlight of our tour, because the fans are ready for a great night of music and fun no matter what night it is!" he added.

But not all of his fans agree.
Kenny's Facebook wall (via USA Today) is filled with some unhappy fans who can't attend the Friday night show now.
"Some people are not able at the last minute to rearrange work/child care," one person wrote. "This should have been changed to a date further out NOT closer up."
Do you think Kenny made the right decision?
