Kris Humphries Dismisses Lawsuit Claim That He Gave Woman STD
Kris Humphries has strenuously denied that he infected an alleged former lover with a sexually transmitted disease.
A lawsuit was recently filed against Kim Kardashian's estranged husband by Kayla Goldberg, who alleges that the basketball player gave her herpes two years ago.
"Kris was recently accused by another woman of giving her herpes; this happened within the last two months," a source close to the NBA star told RadarOnline.
"Kris tested negative for it though, and for any other sexually transmitted disease, and he is absolutely steadfast that he has never given anyone herpes.
"Kris plans on vigorously fighting the lawsuit against him by Kayla Goldberg and is considering counter-suing her for defamation."
Kayla claims that she met Kris at The Newsroom Cafe in LA on Aug. 31, 2010, and they went back to his room at the Thompson Hotel, where they had unprotected sex.
"Once Kayla Goldberg and Kris Humphries arrived at his hotel room they had sexual intercourse more than once, becoming intimate partners," the court documents state.
"During their interactions Humphries also performed oral sex on Goldberg.... Defendant Humphries did not at any time inform Plainiff that he was infected with the incurable venereal disease Herpes Simplex Virus."
"Kris will take the advice of his lawyers, but he absolutely wants to take legal action against Kayla Goldberg for her actions and this lawsuit," the source added.
Earlier this summer, the 6-foot-9-inch hoops star was also the subject of a complaint from pregnant former girlfriend Myla Sinanaj, but she later dropped her planned lawsuit.
