Kristin Chenoweth is Released From Hospital After 'Good Wife' Lighting Accident
Kristin Chenoweth has been released from Bellevue Hospital in NYC after being struck on the head yesterday during a lighting debacle on a Brooklyn soundstage.
Kristin was flming an episode for The Good Wife when "a gust of wind" blew a lighting silk (a material used to soften artificial light) out of place and knocked the actress "out cold." After a brief stay in the hospital, the Pushing Daisies actress seems to be on the mend.
"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering," her rep, Jill Fritzo, said in a statement. "She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes."
Kristin will play the role of a political reporter in an upcoming season of The Good Wife.
This isn't the first time an ambulance has been called for the Wicked actress. After her 2009 Emmy win for Outsanding Supporting Actress in Pushing Daisies, paramedics were called after she experienced a bad migraine and felt faint backstage.
