LeAnn Rimes Leaves Treatment to Perform Live Concerts
LeAnn Rimes took a time-out from treatment to perform a concert series this weekend. She checked into a 30-day in-patient program on August 29.
The singer, who has said she is seeking treatment for "buried issues" and "stress and anxiety" kicked things off Friday night with a 70-minute set at the Regional Arts Center in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
“I’m pissed off at a lot of things, and I just can’t say it. So it comes out in the music," LeAnn reportedly told the audience. She also thanked them for their support. “I’m totally cool and so happy," she said. "I think I’m about to cry.”
The country crooner later Tweeted “Thanks to all my wonderful fans in Wisconsin. You showed me an amazing amount of love and respect tonight. Love you always.”
LeAnn will also perform in Iowa today and Indiana on Sunday, after which she will return to treatment.
