Martha Stewart's Team Created a "Fun-Filled" Wedding for Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds enlisted the help of domestic goddess Martha Stewart for their secret wedding that took place last night on September 9 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina — the same location where the ultra romantic film The Notebook was shot.
According to Martha Stewart Weddings, a team worked with the couple to create an "intimate, personalized party" for guests "in a rustic barn. From the heartfelt ceremony to the fun-filled carnival hour and elegant reception, it was a truly enchanting celebration."
The bride wore a one-of-a-kind Marchesa couture ball gown with crystal and rose gold embroidery, while her bridesmaids wore blush silk chiffon dresses from the same designer People reports.
The ladies weren't the only stylish ones at the event, however. Ryan and his groomsmen wore Burberry suits accessorized with leather suspenders the groom's friend Christopher Bailey designed.
This is the first marriage for Blake and the second for Ryan. He was previously married to Scarlett Johansson for two years and they divorced in July of 2011.
