'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star NeNe Leakes Snags Guest Spot on 'Glee'

Are you a fan of both Glee and The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Well then, this is very exciting news.

Glee stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer announced to Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live last night that the reality star would be appearing on the Fox hit show in the new year.

OK! NEWS: NENE LEAKES AS THE NEXT OPRAH?

"We have a new guest star coming on Glee, Ms. NeNe Leakes," Chris, who portrays Kurt on the show, exclaimed!

Lea, who plays Rachel, and, like Chris, is a big Housewives fan added, "We literally raided her trailer, we banged on her door." 

NeNe will portray Roz Washington, the coach of the swim team that Sam, played by Chord Overstreet, will be joining in an upcoming episode.

The reality star is obviously excited about her new gig and Tweeted last night, "Running through the house screaming Gleeeeee! Coach Roz Washington is gonna get that Sue Sylvester! I'm so proud of myself."

Her Twitter was flooded with congratulatory messages and she later Tweeted again, 

"Studying lines now! My memory is just gone LOL! Gotta head right back 2 the Glee set after the holidays."

Looks like NeNe will be an exciting addition to Glee in the new year, and she's not the only one. Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin have already been announced as guest stars on the show in 2012 as well.
