Reese Witherspoon on Robert Pattinson's Dancing: "I Wouldn't Say It's His Forte"
Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson had to do a romantic dancing scene together for Water for Elephants, but Rob had a little difficulty with the footwork.
Rob previously confessed to MTV News that the dance scene was one of his most difficult to shoot.
"That was the one bit I was most nervous about because there are tons of extras who are really good dancers, and they're all doing the Charleston. And Reese is a really great dancer," he explained. "Reese said she couldn't even do the practice with me, so she did the practice with the dance teacher."
In fact, Rob said he was an awful dancer, but Reese denied that to MTV News.
"As dancers go, I wouldn't say it's his forte," she said. "I wouldn't say it's his favorite thing, but it actually ended up turning out really well in the movie. We had some doubts about whether we could pull it off."
"We had a very enthusiastic coach, who really wanted us to make it right," Reese explained. "I was like, 'This is not Dancing With the Stars!'"
