Rihanna Mourns Death of Her Grandmother at a Funeral in Barbados
It's been a sad couple of days for Rihanna and her family.
The Barbadian singer lost her grandmother, whom she affectionately called GranGran Dolly, last week. After attending a memorial service Friday in Brooklyn, Rihanna flew back to Barbados yesterday.
The "Where Have You Been" singer wore a simple black sheath dress and pumps to the burial in her hometown.
While noticeably shaken, she received an outpouring of love from fans and typed out a few tear-jerking tweets.
"#grangranDOLLY time for your party in Barbados," she wrote and "#grangrandolly you are going to have the best party today. #allblackerrthang! and I'm gon' try to hold it all in, try to hold back my tears."
Even tumultuous ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, offered his support on the social networking site.
"Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP," he wrote.
