Behind the scenes, say insiders, the Hollywood superstar has very quietly been pining for the love of her hunky, longtime pal, Ryan Reynolds — whose new romance with sexy, 24-year-old Gossip Girl star Blake Lively has put some distance into his long-running relationship with America's Sweetheart.

One source tells Star, "Sandra's still so hung up on Ryan, I think she'd drop everything at a moment's notice to be his wife if her dream somehow came true and he popped the question.
