Sarah Jessica Parker Replacing Demi Moore as Gloria Steinem in 'Lovelace'
The studio producing the film Lovelace has found a replacement for Demi Moore, who dropped out of the movie this week after being hospitalized for substance abuse. Although Mary-Louis Parker's name was floating around this morning, E! Online confirms that Sarah Jessica Parker will take on Demi's role as Gloria Steinem in the biopic.
Demi, who was looking forward to playing the feminist icon, had a scary medical emergency this week and will be seeking help for exhaustion and to improve her overall health.
Although SJP is a surprise choice to play Gloria, who teamed up with Linda Lovelace during the anti-pornography movement in the early 80s, the Sex and the City star is ditching her softer side and geared up to begin filming in NYC on Monday.
Amanda Seyfried plays Lovelace, as James Franco embodies a young Hugh Hefner and SJP's buddy Chris Noth, Sharon Stone, Wes Bentley, Chloe Sevigny and Peter Sarsgaard co-star.
Do you think Sarah Jessica is a good choice to fill Demi's shoes?
