Selena Gomez on Her 'Spring Breakers' Role: "She Smokes, She Drinks, She Dances With Guys"
Selena Gomez is super excited about her new film Spring Breakers because it's "real."
The actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight and revealed her character "is the most timid one, for sure."
"She's kind of the one that thinks things over and is more aware of her surroundings, which is definitely how I am in real life," Selena revealed. "But she does have a little bit of an edge to her. She smokes, she drinks, she kind of dances with random guys."
"It's spring break, the thing about this movie is it's 100 percent real. This is what happens during spring break."
Why did Selena choose this role?
She said, "I wanted to something that was completely different and to be completely honest this is an indie role and i thought if I was going to trust someone it would be [director] Harmony [Korine]. I wanted to try to push myself, I wanted to see what I could do and what I was capable of."
"He [Harmony] pushes us, but in a safe way."
Selena also revealed, "It'll definitely be controversial, I think, but I'm ready for it."
So are we! Spring Breakers is rumored to be coming out next Spring.
