The Jersey Shore's Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has a big announcement to make that she want's everyone to take seriously — she's writing a novel!

In a statement made on Wednesday (via Just Jared), Snooki says her first novel will “revolves around a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore)."

Believe it or not, Snooki got a book deal with Simon & Schuster and her first novel is set to come out early next year.

“I’m pumped to announce to my fans a project that I’ve been working on for some time,” Snooki said in the statement. “This book will have you falling in love at the shore. It’s ‘A Shore Thing!’”
If Lauren Conrad can make it onto the New York Times Best-Seller list, then so can Snooki!
