Tina Fey & Jane Krakowski: We Didn't Get Special Treatment at Lenox Hill Hospital Like Beyoncé Did
New moms Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski are not happy campers. The 30 Rock stars, who both gave birth at Manhattan's Lenox Hill Hospital last year, confess that they didn't get anything close to the celebrity child birth treatment Beyoncé had!
"We had very similar experiences to Beyoncé and Jay-Z," Jane, who gave birth to son Bennett in April, joked to Matt Lauer on the Today Show this morning, in reference to reports that music power couple rented out an entire floor of the hospital for their daughter Blue Ivy Carter's delivery.
"My celebrity treatment at Lenox Hill involved taking a group breastfeeding class in a closet," Tina, who welcomed daughter Penelope in August, added. "It's clearly supposed to be a storage closet, with a bunch of other mothers, and a nurse grabs one of your breasts and another lady's and is shoving them in a baby's mouth." Sounds terrifying!
Of course, the comediennes were simply joking around, reassuring moms-to-be that the Upper East Side medical center is a fantastic hospital. "I think the nurses at Lenox Hill hospital are fantastic," Tina gushed.
What do you think of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's special treatment?
