Hanging off the side of the tallest man-made structure ever built? No problem for daredevil Tom Cruise. In his new film, Mission Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Tom aka Ethan Hunt can be seen climbing and swinging off of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai — which stands at 2,717 feet high — something he says was "challenging." Yeah, we'd assume so!

On Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, Tom let Jimmy Fallon know the reason why he decided to risk it all and do his own stunts.

"I like entertaining an audience," Tom said, "I wanted to shoot the whole thing on the side of the building, so when I saw the sequence I thought, if we could just get this it would be really entertaining for an audience... and challenging." Amazed by Tom's fearlessness, Jimmy asked, "How did you do that and not pee your pants?" Tom's reply? "Don’t look down!"

Tom also reassured his fans that he was really "swinging" from the Burj Khalifa and that when he saw the sequences director Brad Bird created, he "couldn't wait to do them."

As for whether or not Tom will sign on to do another Mission: Impossible film, he says we'll have to wait and see.

"The thing we the producers always have is, what if I say no?" Tom joked.  "We kind of sit there in the room for 15 minutes and go, 'Oh no, just accept it!' "

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is now in theaters and IMAX nationwide.
