Tom Brady's Dad Denies Engagement Reports

It seemed too good to be true — the superstar golden boy quarterback proposing to his supermodel girlfriend on board a private plane on Christmas Eve. That's what various news sources were reporting about injured New England Patriots hunk Tom Brady and Victoria's Secret model Gisele Bundchen on Friday.

But now — at least according to Tom's own father — the fairytale story of their engagement is just a bunch of make-believe.

"We don't know a thing about it," Tom's father, Tom Brady Sr., told the Boston Globe over the weekend. "Nobody told me. We talked to him and there's nothing to say. It's rumor, rumor, rumor. It must be a slow news day."
