Cate Blanchett: Hollywood's Most Wanted Woman

The Queen of the box office is also the queen among Hollywood actresses.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age monarch Cate Blanchett is the most coveted colleague for her peers, OK! learned at ELLE Magazine’s 14th Annual Women in Hollywood event, which celebrates female stars’ celluloid achievements. The Aussie wasn’t honored at the soiree and wasn’t even present, but she was sure on everyone’s mind.

“I would love to work with Cate Blanchett!” Kate Bosworth gushed to OK!. “I just think that she’s one of the most incredible actresses of our generation and I admire her tremendously.”

Same goes for The Office's Melora Hardin, who adds that along with her beauty and talent, the Oscar winner “has got a lot of integrity. Cate would be at the top [of the list] for sure!”

Both may have to take a number behind Cate’s longtime Down Under buddy, 30 Days of Night star Melissa George, who believes they are due for a joint project.

“She’s Australian. I’m Australian. She’s amazing. I’ve known her for a long time, and it would be great to do a movie together!”
