On New Year's Eve, while the rest of us count down the seconds until 2008 arrives, Nicole Richie and fiancé Joel Madden will be watching the ticking clock on another arrival — their first child. And OK! can now reveal, that the Simple Life star's baby new year will be wrapped up in blue.

Aside from the couple, who have remained hush-hush on the gender of their little collaboration, receiving a ton of blue items at last weekend's duel baby showers, one source close to the daughter of music legend Lionel Richie tells OK! "Nicole is having a boy. She even has a few names picked out."
