Jennifer Aniston Is a "Beautiful Character"

Oprah Winfrey got a little help from her Friends for Oprah's Big Give — or just one in particular.

Jennifer Aniston will be a featured guest on the upcoming feel-good show, teaming up with Jamie Oliver to help 10 people give back to others, and the chef could not imagine working with anyone else for the show.

"Jennifer’s a friend of mine, she’s a beautiful, beautiful character," he tells OK!. "She was perfect to be a part of Oprah’s Big Give because that’s her personality — she’s a beautiful, giving person. It was lovely to have her involved, to have a friend be involved in the same show as me, and she comes along to one of the shows to pat the winners on the back."

The two became fast friends years ago when the actress invited Jamie, 32, to cook for then-hubby Brad Pitt's birthday party after seeing him on TV. And speaking of television, Jamie adds that what you see is what you get with the 39-year-old Emmy winner.

"She’s the same in real life as everyone thinks she is on telly, you know?" he says.

Oprah's Big Give premieres on March 2, but the details of Jen and Jamie's episode is being kept under wraps. However, the show's executive producer, Ellen Rakieten, promises something big from these philanthropic buddies, who really are ,well, good Friends.

"She comes on one of the shows and delivers a really big surprise, something nobody expected," she tells OK!. "I always say that she’s everybody’s favorite Friend, and that’s absolutely what she’s like in real life. I had the pleasure of going out to dinner with Jamie, Jennifer and some other friends the night before and she really truly is the sweetest person you’ve ever met. Jen gets a kick out of everything Jamie says. They’re buds and it was fun to be able to see that."

rockel1911 you are SO CORRECT. Women who say that so and so Stole My Man sound ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Whenever I hear that I just laugh. A man CAN NOT be STOLEN from their WIFE/GIRLFFRIEND. Men are definitely not these poor helpless victims that are being dragged off by these other women. They know exactly what they are doing. They know that they have a wife/girlfriend. Although another woman should not go after another woman's husband/boyfriend, the "MAN" is the one who should be saying, "I love my wife/girlfriend, I am not interested." When/if a man gives into that kind of temptation, he DOES NOT TRULY love his partner. If he did, he would not be able to "SEE" any other woman but his partner. Men are supposed to be responsible for their own relationships. The OTHER WOMAN has NO POWER unless the MAN gives her power. TIGRESS

Eleanor and Graceven, you are two bitter women. Pitt should have respected his own marriage he took the vows not Jolie, if it was not her it would have been someone else. Please ladies stop being so bitter did someone steal your husband’s?? Understand when a man or woman wants to leave nothing can stop them. May someday you guys will come to grip with your misfortune

I think both women are beautiful, they both have good qualities. Angie wants to be a mother, I remember reading when Jen and Brad were married that he wanted children and she put her career on "Friends" first. It seems like Brad and Angie are very happy..I wish Jen could find the same.

Re: Jennifer Aniston Is a 'Beautiful Character'

I don’t know if Brad cheated or if he and Angie only flirted at the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. What it is certainly clear to me is that his marriage was already in trouble before him and Angelina got together. The man was pushing 40 and he wanted a family. He and Jen were simply not in the same page. For personal or career reasons she just wouldn’t have kids and I am a true believer of marriage but I don’t think it should involve sacrificing their ambitions and that goes for the both of them. Sorry but I will not crucify Angelina. She is not the villain. It takes two to tango! Plus she is so not covering up for anything!! Her personal transformation and her work towards the causes she believed in started way before she met Brad. If she was just covering up for her troubled years, she wouldn’t have to made life-long commitments as she did. I don’t think her PR rep came up with the idea of adopting children from third world countries. Everyone is entitled to evolve, we all have every right to grow up and at some point settle down with who we think is our soul mate. I just think that Jen and Brad were never meant to be.

Re: Jennifer Aniston Is a 'Beautiful Character'

I agree with Eleanor re: rockel1911. Did you read the quote Angelina Jolie said, about not caring what Brad's ex-wife feels? Obviously Jolie is a selfish man-stealer. Pitt would not have left his WIFE had Jolie respected his marriage vows to Jennifer Aniston. Angelina Jolie is one messed up person. She covers up her insanity with her title as a representative for the U.N. and her other charatible giving and adoption of children. She needs an audience, that's why all the children! She's a mess of a person and completely mean-spirited. She DID steal Brad Pitt away from his WIFE. They made a vow to stay together forever, but Jolie made sure she got her own way. Brad Pitt will end up miserable in his relationship with that crazy Jolie...the day will come when he'll regret leaving a real human/humane being. Jolie has a history of stealing men from other women...she has the looks and charisma to do it and she is using Pitt and he is now her latest puppet. I hope people will continue to dislike Angelina Jolie (they truly do not like her) and avoid any movies she's in or Brad Pitt is in. What they did is shameful and you're (rockel911) are a fool to think a man can't be stolen away from a woman. He wouldn't have left his marriage if Jolie hadn't offered herself to him. Jolie and Pitt are slime and God help their children -- more crazy to come from that brood.

rockel1911 - what the Hell does your comment have to do with this story? Is this your standard, canned, I hate Jennifer post for every occasion. So don't watch The Big Give - who the belovin' cares. And please, for your own sake and that of your family, get an attitude adjustment.

Re: Jennifer Aniston Is a 'Beautiful Character'

Ladies, Ladies enough is enough!!! I am so tired of hearing women say their husbands were STOLEN from them. The truth of the matter is, when a man decides to leave he will… and yes I am a very happily married for 15years. If my husband choose to leave I would not say he was stolen by the other women. Please stop it Pitt wanted to leave. Stop feeling sorry for yourself because you experience a man leaving you.
