MILO VENTIMIGLIA TALKS ABOUT HIS DIRECTORIAL DEBUT

Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia is branching out from acting and honing a new power directing. The 30-year-old has produced and directed the web series It's a Mall World, a 13-episode American Eagle Outfitters marketing campaign premiering tonight, Aug. 1, during The Real World: Sydney on MTV and on AE.com. Working on the project was an absolute 'pleasure,' Milo tells OK! at the Hollywood premiere, noting that the best part was 'putting beautiful images together with talented people.'It was a pleasure. It's the long end of the road so I'm a little tired. It was a pleasure to work with a large corporation that inspired creativity. We all had a good time. They brought the characters to life. They make me look really good.'Sounding like the average guy, Milo - who cites Steven Spielberg, Michael Mann and Rocky Balboa co-star Sylvester Stallone as his main influences - says he's not so much a fan of shopping as he is of being done and leaving the mall. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have favorite designers and stores. 'I think going home [is my favorite part]. That feeling of getting all your stuff. I love buying items from Ralph Lauren. It's classic Americana and consistent.'By Joyce EngPhoto: Wireimage.com
