As a 54 year old mother of a 17 year old, I find it appalling that Ashley Simpson would refer to Britney Spears as being "trashy". Has Ashley Simpson not forgotten the world giving her a break when she was busted lip synching on national TV? Didn't she ask for everyone's forgiveness? It really is amazing that a celebrity with no talent has the nerve to name call someone that is trying so hard to get their life back on track. "What goes around, comes around". This comment will come back to haunt Ashley Simpson. I would have thought with your family's so called Christian values, you would have known better. Calling Britney Spears "trashy", this from someone that tries to define herself with dying her hair every other day and dressing "trashy herself is really a JOKE!

i just think it takes alot of nerve for someone who is living with her boyfriend and is knocked up and wont even come clean with her problems, to talk sh*t on someone who admits her problems and is getting the help that she needs to fix them. I'm not one to judge, but this is from the mouth of one of those ditzy Simpson girls, and this one has lived with her boyfriend for 2 years now, finally allowing herself to get knocked up, so she could convince him to finally put a ring on her finger, and "make an honest woman out of her". Ashley is trashy in her own way. At least Britney can blame some of her behavior on mental illness rather than just being brainless.

Actually, what Ashlee said about Britney she supposedly thought was "really bad" and she "felt horrible" so I've got one question. Why'd she repeat it?

Jealous much? Trashy? I find trashy someone judging someone else that you really don’t have any room to talk about. I find the fact that someone who has had their own problems with the media judging another person that is completely harassed by the media interesting. I guess when you just have to deal with a photographer bothering you every once in a while to try to figure out if your knocked up or not gives you no understanding of what its like to have a swarm of paparazzi always harassing you. Yes, Britney has had some problems; she is obviously trying to deal with those problems. Try having some class and being supportive rather than trying to bring someone down to your level. Most of us outgrew this horrible little habit in junior high.

She's calling someone with a diagnosed mental illness trashy. Ashlee is knocked up. Her sister messed around with other men while married. Their father comments about their breasts. Maybe Ashlee needs to look in the mirror to see exactly what trash is.

True kygirl05, those Simpson twits couldn't fill a phone booth much less sell out stadiums the way Britney did. Ashlee will be lucky to sell 100k copies so her weak cd. But she is right. Britney's behavior was beyond trashy, not mention losing custody of her kids.

At least Britney didn't get knocked up and had to get married, talk about trashy. Furthermore Britney has made more of an impact on music that ashlee simpson has or ever will.

She better feel bad, her and her sis combined could never amass the type of success Britney has had and will hopefully continue to have!
