Sexy new mom Salma Hayek has discovered her calling.

"She's nuturing and maternal," Salma's friend Phillip Bloch says of her mothering instinct.  The actress, 41, gave birth to daughter Valentina, 11 months, and immediately settled into nesting with her newborn baby.

The Frida star has managed to stay strong despite splitting with Valentina's father, Francois Henri Pinault.

"Salma has survived many romances," Phillip says.  "She finds happiness in the ones she loves.  She's pasionado!"
