Paris Tries For World Speed-Spending Record!

If only spending were an Olympic sport, Paris Hilton would be a gold-medalist!

In a recent spree, the 27-year-old heiress broke a sweat dropping $1,600 on fitness gear at L.A.'s Sports Chalet, but that's where the workout ended.

Her clerk, Chris Espinoza, carried the haul to Paris's car, and although he says, "She was really nice," all he got was a memory: The heiress didn't even tip!

Don't take it too hard, Chris. Remember, Paris has to watch every penny since her grandfather Barron Hilton decided to drop her from his multi-billion dollar will after the little stint behind bars!
