Ellen Halts Filming for Portia

Ellen DeGeneres will stop at nothing to prove her love for Portia de Rossi – and that includes halting her talk show!

On Oct. 15, the newlyweds were in Las Vegas, where Ellen, 50, shot a segment at Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospital for Children Open before doing some filming at The Venetian hotel. Portia, 35, eventually grew antsy and was anxious to hit the stores.

“She was dying for a new pair of jeans,” an insider tells OK!, “so Ellen stopped, mid-filming to go shopping at Paige denim with her!”

The twosome held hands as they picked out new duds, then Ellen, worried that she wouldn’t have time to try things on, left Portia to play in the store.

Showing her affection for her wife is nothing new to Ellen, she often gives shout-outs to Portia during her daytime talk show. The blonde twosome tied the knot on Aug. 16, after California's Supreme Court reversed the state's ban on gay marriages.
