Adam Levine's career sure has been riding high lately. If he is not singing his hit "Moves Like Jagger" with Maroon 5 or "Stereo Hearts" with Gym Class Heroes, he is enjoying the success of the second season of The Voice and the fact that he won last year with contestant Javier Colon.
It may have been an early day for the rocker, but Adam was grinning from ear to ear.
That smile is surely because of how well The Voice has turned out for him. He wasn't always so sure about taking on this new project.
"I was very skeptical, naturally," he said. "I had my life and my career and didn't necessarily think this was going to work. But it seemed interesting, and I loved the idea. And then it worked! And wow! I wasn't aware that I would be able to be a good coach. But I kind of eased my way into it. I don't know what makes a good coach!"
Adam also revealed that he and the other mentors — Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton — have already signed on for season three.
Yay! We can't wait.
