Several members of the Gossip Girl cast were hard at work in New York City yesterday; Blake Lively, Michelle Trachtenberg, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick all filmed scenes for the show's upcoming sixth and final season.

It's a strange position to be in as fans — we can't wait for the season to start but at the same time, we don't want it to end! And the sooner it starts... sigh.

What will we do without the drama (and the fashion show!)? Speaking of fashion, the one to be envied wardrobe-wise yesterday was undoubtedly Leighton. The ensemble she wears while filming a scene with Ed is amazingly figure-flattering and we are loving that headband! And about that scene... it looks like it might be kind of dramatic. Who hopes Chuck and Blair get back together? Spoiler alert: E! News recently revealed that the characters are not together at the start of the season, but they are not seeing anyone else, either. So the possibility is there!
