Hosted by Kevin Hart, the 2011 BET Awards did what it does best – delivering great performances and moving acceptance speeches. Anita Baker and Mary J. Blige started things off with a bang with “Rapture of Love." Kelly Rowland showed off her sexy sultry voice with “Motivation” and then her dance moves on Trey Songz. Boy, was it hot last night!

Chris Brown proved victorious last night, walking away with four awards including Video of the Year. There wasn’t much of a surprise when powerhouse Nicki Minaj won Best Female Hip Hop Artist for the second year in a row. With the amount of great music coming from those two, 2012 should prove just as successful.
