Prince William was knighted into the Order of the Thistle today in Edinburgh, Scotland. William was joined at the ceremony by his wife, Duchess Kate Middleton, and his grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip.

William, also known as the Duke of Cambridge or his official title in Scotland Earl of Strathearn, was granted this knighting by the Queen and it is Scotland's highest honor.
