Rooney Mara's red carpet style for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo has been filled with cut-out dresses. Playing up her role as Lisbeth Salander, Rooney styled a short black dress with a sheer back and bright red lips on Wednesday.

The actress posed with her co-star Daniel Craig at the Ziegfeld Theatre for their NYC premiere. Rooney also had support from her sister Kate Mara, who showed up to the carpet in a short pink dress that was very feminine.
