It was a gorgeous Memorial day yesterday, and celebrity parents Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani took advantage of nature's bounty by heading to the beach in Malibu with their boys Kingston and Zuma. But mom and dad decided to opt out of wearing traditional beach attire and both went with... black. Perhaps protection from the sun was the goal?

Their boys did get to frolic in the ocean in swim trunks, with Kingston showing off a temporary tattoo on his chest.
