Halle Berry seems to be cheerful amidst a harsh court battle with her ex, Gabriel Aubry — she enjoyed a day on the beach with her daughter Nahla and beau Olivier Martinez in Malibu, Calif., yesterday.

The actress, who has been spotted heading to court to deal with child endangerment charges that have been placed against her ex, wore a fedora, big sunglasses and a smile as she relaxed in the sand.

Earlier in the day, Halle, Olivier and Nahla headed to brunch, although Halle seemed to be in quite a bit of pain while sporting a cast and hobbling around on crutches. We hope she's OK! This is the second time in four months that Halle has injured her foot!
