It seems like just yesterday we were first introduced to the pint-sized wonder that is Snooki, gazed upon The Situation's midsection and found phrases like "GTL" "fistpump"  and "grenade" mysteriously woven into our lexicon.

Tough to believe, but it's been five, soon to be six, full seasons watching our Jersey Shore guidos and guidettes grow up before our very eyes. The aforementioned Snooki went from getting arrested on the beach to holing up with her fiancé and caring for her newborn son, Lorenzo. The Situation went to rehab for prescription pill addiction, JWoww became a connoisseur of bikinis and Pauly D is a successful DJ.

While the impending last season of The Jersey Shore doesn't necessarily mean the end — hardcore Shore addicts can check out spin-off Snooki and JWoww — Seaside Heights will surely never be the same.
