Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, had to spend Valentine's Day away from her Prince this year, so she spent the day doing the absolute best thing she good — visiting charities!

Prince William is away on a six-week Royal Air Force deployment, so Kate is filling up her time touring charities in Liverpool, England.

Despite not being with the man she loves for Valentine's Day, Kate received many flowers and gifts from admirers. Jaqson Johnston-Lynch, 8, gave Kate a bouqet of red roses, card and a cupcake with "Jaqson loves Kate" on it, ABC News reports.

It looks like Kate had a very special day!
