Katie Holmes and daughter Suri Cruise braved the wet weather in NYC yesterday to enjoy an afternoon stroll.

Suri wore a raincoat, rainboots and, at one point, stayed protected under an umbrella, while Katie opted to ditch the rain gear and sport sunglasses instead.

Later on, the adorable mother-daughter duo were all smiles as they tried to catch a cab after doing a little shopping in FAO Schwarz.
