The actress, with her mother Dina in tow, is visiting the Big Apple for work meetings and quality time with her family, who live on Long Island.

Lindsay, who has dominated courtrooms and police blotters for the better part of her career, has been out of the headlines of late, save for a small blip over the weekend involving a reported jewelry theft.

An L.A. homeowner contacted police Monday morning saying several pieces of expensive jewelry were missing after an all-night party. Thankfully, police say Lindsay (who was charged with grand theft in an unrelated case last year) is not a suspect.
