Matthew McConaughey & Jack Black Debut 'Bernie' at the Los Angeles Film Festival

Yesterday in L.A., stars attended the red hot Film Independent's Los Angeles Film Festival. Hysterical Jack Black, hot surfer boy Matthew McConaughey, and legendary Shirley MacLaine, attended the event to promote their new film Bernie. Also in attendance was Matthew's long-time girlfriend, the stunning Camila Alves. The film, classified as a "dark comedy" debuted at last night's event. Matthew, in a large cowboy hat, embraced the film through his chosen ensemble.

The film, directed by Richard Linklater, takes a twisted turn when a local Texan mortician befriends a wealthy widow. A friendship that is, until he kills her. He then goes into great lengths to create an illusion that she is still alive. Jack plays the warped man, proving his multidimensional abilities as an actor.
