Newly-Crowned Cannes Winner Kirsten Dunst Cools Off in NYC
Kirsten Dunst looked to cool off yesterday, taking a break from her busy Monday in NYC. Spotted sporting sandals and sunglasses, just weeks ago Kirsten was donning couture from Chanel's Spring 2010 collection at the Cannes Film Festival. While promoting her newest film, Melancholia, Kirsten also found herself having to defend the film's director, Lars Von Trier, after his remarks about Nazis got him thrown out.
"He says dumb stuff sometimes but not anything I had ever been offended by. It just came out wrong, that's not Lars at all," Kirsten said at the time.

Despite the directorial controversy, Kirsten walked away with the Cannes Film Festival's coveted Best Actress award for her performance.
