Nicki Minaj was the new "egg" this year. Stealing the fashion spotlight from Lady Gaga, Nicki arrived to the 2012 Grammy Awards red carpet with the Pope on her arm. The singer dressed in a red-hooded cape. But Nicki wasn't the only star making a shocking fashion statement this year.

There were some ladies who stunned in a good way on the red carpet, however. Adele and Rihanna looked amazing in dark dresses, Katy Perry was pretty in a light blue gown that matched her hair while Taylor Swift went for glam in a sparkly gold gown.
