Sunday night marked the 34th Kennedy Center Honors, an event that celebrates influencers in the arts.

The 2011 honorees included Meryl Streep, Neil Diamond, Yo-Yo Ma, Barbara Cook and Sonny Rollins.

Also in attendance at the reception, held at the East Room of the White House in Washington, D.C., were Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, John Krasinski, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci, Glenn Close, Stephen Colbert, Diane Sawyer, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
