On Thursday, the Sex and the City star made an afternoon appearance at Melbourne's Crown Oaks Day at Flemington Racecourse where she excitedly watched the event from VIP seating. While many were expecting her to wear another over-the-top hat such as the one she donned at an event a few days ago, SJP opted for a more toned down look with a large jeweled hair clip.

Elizabeth Hurley, on the other hand, went all out with an outrageous floral headpiece as she enjoyed the races with her fiance, Shane Warne.
