'Smash' Star Katharine McPhee Waves Happily as She Arrives at the 'Today' Show

Smash star Katharine McPhee was beaming from ear to ear as she arrived at the Today show today.
The actress definitely has a lot to smile about as her new show premiered to big ratings last Monday. The drama-musical was the third-highest drama debut this season and had the biggest 10 p.m. ratings of any drama this season with 11.5 million viewers.

With a Louis Vuitton bag and a gorgeous black coat, Katharine was relishing in her new role as a TV star.
Katharine said on Today, "Since I’ve come off Idol and before Idol I’ve been pounding away as an actress, and you try to get people to see you in a different light.”
