Like gasoline to a car, The Real Housewives franchise runs on a full tank of drama, accusations, expensive shoes and a touch of delusion.
So much so that Bravo not only hopes but relies on the wacky antics of each show's relentless villain to be the ammunition to keep the hour-long episode afloat. In fact, it's actually tough to think where the Real Housewives would be today without New Jersey's Teresa Giudice and her table flipping outbursts, DC's Michaele Salahi's shamless White House party crashing or NYC's Kelly Bensimon's Scary Island meltdown.
Check out why we chose Teresa, Michaele, New Jersey's Danielle Staub, Beverly Hills' Camille Grammer, NYC's Kelly and Orange County's Alexis Bellino as the requisite oil to the housewife water.
It was just yesterday we reported that New Jersey's spitfire Teresa Giudice has no friends left on the Housewives show. The split is so bad it has the network scrambling to hire at least another person who will film with her next season. Teresa, once tight with all cast members, has slowly but surely alienated herself into isolation. "It was four against one, with Teresa being the odd one out," a source said of the soon-to-be-aired reunion.
