Oh no! In this book, the twins and their friends in the Snoopers Club are charged with SAVING CHRISTMAS. That's a pretty steep order for a bunch of second-graders, but since the adults in Sweet Valley have repeatedly proven to be irresponsible and idiotic, we're fine with it. Apparently, the bell that helps Santa's reindeer fly has fallen off the sleigh, and without it, no Christmas gifts will be delivered. We're not sure of the following things: 1) Why you can't fly without a bell 2) If the custodian from the previous book really did prove to be Santa and this is who the twins are helping and 3) Who that boy is on the cover, the one looking off into space, looking like he wishes he were anywhere but here, even though there is no place more perfect than Sweet Valley, Calif.
